Yes. If a case is funded by legal aid our hourly rates will be in line with relevant legal aid guidelines. We provide detailed quotes for work to enable you to apply for prior authority from the Legal Aid Agency.

No. We only conduct work directly for the legal profession – such as Solicitors, Barristers, Coroners, Courts, the CPS, the Police, Armed Forces – and other organisations such as Councils. 

We have Experts on our books in various fields of evidence including alcohol back calculations, audio evidence, firearms and other weapons, CCTV evidence, collision investigation, computers, DNA evidence, drugs, facial mapping, fire investigation, footwear marks, handwriting, injuries, mobile phones and other electronic devices, pathology, pharmacology, psychiatry, psychology, tool marks, toxicology, vehicle speed estimations, and more.

No. Our Expert is able to report on toxicology test results, including conducting alcohol back calculations, commenting on the levels of drugs found, and reporting typical doses and effects, but we cannot conduct the actual testing of samples.

Please provide us with an outline of the case/case summary, details of the work you want carried out (including Counsel’s Advice if available), relevant papers e.g. a copy of the forensic reports on the evidence you want to have examined, the location of your Client if they are being assessed, any deadline for the report, the trial date (or other relevant hearing date) and the name of the Court at which it is due to take place, confirmation of whether the work is privately funded, legally aided or other funding source, and any other information you think is relevant.
